If you're willing to exchange a bit of your time for accommodation in a picturesque, out-of-the-way setting, Sea-Cliffs is the place for you.

We try to be as self sufficient as possible, and grow as much of our food and fuel as we can.

The house is nestled into a planted woodlot. Our grove of trees shelters us from the wind,and provides sustainable fuel for our cooking & heating.

Our oceanfront propery has a small garden, supplying much of our needs through the summer.

A wood fire with water heater provides our hot water and winter heating.

Ideal for those who like to fish!... living right alongside nature's bounty, we often supplement our meals with the days catch.

After your day's chores are over, go look around the area, we'll provide local knowledge and advice.

We're five minutes' walk from the beach, and a cliff-top lookout at the front of the property offers views from North Cape to the KariKari Peninsula.

How it Works

We'll provide basic accommodation (cabin or caravan style).
We ask for about a half day's work each day - or perhaps a full day of work then a day off.
Generally we need help with physical, outside work (Gardening, clearing weeds, digging, hauling wood etc)
